Mrs. Nutmeg locked Heathcliff and Mr. Nutmeg out of the house for putting the 18th hole in their front yard.

If that's the clubhouse, then this strip? Utter fucking failure.

I don't understand what the black thing is in the upper right hand corner. A tree? A cloud? And what's the white thing in the black thing? It looks like the 'moons' on the fortune teller's gown in the "I foresee a good catch" comic earlier in the week.

I found your site because I Googled "May 16 Heathcliff". I'mm confused!

The black splotch in the upper right hand corner is supposed to represent night. It is likely the result of a spilled bottle of ink and an "OH SHIT" realization on behalf of the "artist."

The white thing in the black thing is Pac Man.

Thanks for visiting!

That's the nuttiest explanation that I've ever heard. It's so beyond the pale, that according to the DSM-IV-TR, you are crazy.

Night? Whatever.

Pacman? You're whack.

It has no explanation. It's ridiculous. It defies understanding.

Heathcliff should be stopped. You should be put in the penalty box for two minutes for such nonsensical reasoning.
